High Power - two frequency
See deep with 50 kHz or detailed using 200 kHz operation. The
low frequency mode will show deep water bottom contours and the high frequency
mode the midwater section with trawl targets or bait fish in a higher resolution
revealing more details. You can go very deep. The 600 Watt transceiver will
ensure sufficient power to reach depths of up to 2,400 feet (800
meters).
Bottom lock and expansion
The advanced bottom lock feature ensures a reliable depth
readout. The expansion enables magnified view of the bottom area or the area
near the VRM (Variable Range Marker), for a better separation of echoes. The
zoom level can be selected in seven steps ranging from 3 to 50 meters, feet or
fathoms. The split-screen will have a normal full width echo picture in the
upper part of the display and the lower 1/3 will contain the expanded
section.
Automatic depth range
The depth range will automatically adjust to the changing
bottom. Manual adjustment of depth range or gain is easy with dedicated keys.
The more advanced settings are accessed with a single keystroke on the ENT key
and selected by moving the cursor.
White line feature
The White Line feature will help separate fish and important
structions which tend to merge with the bottom.
Event Mark and Event History
Use the PLOT key to make a vertical marker at the present depth
or move a cursor backwards in the echogram to where you have spotted something
of interest. The event memory will, besides depth, also have recorded the actual
position. You can store this information and see it as a WP or mark on the
chart.
A-Scope
The A-Scope, which gives a precise picture of the present echo,
is often used for separating fish from the bottom and determining stock sizes as
well as spotting single fish.
