Truly advanced Italian big-game reels, highly regarded in the
trolling industry for their rugged dependability. These are the first big-game
trolling reels to offer an infinite anti-reverse system, which utilizes a
one-way bearing to eliminate all handle play—every inch of line gained is a full
inch, with no slipbacks and no chance of “give” at the most inopportune time.
You’ll also like the automatic re-arming feature, a frontal cam and release
button that quickly places the gear lever into “free” spool or “full”
engagement. The 5 internal bearings and gears are made from tempered stainless
steel for maximum corrosion resistance; the exceptional drag system features
advanced carbon composite washers, for smooth, non-sticking, non-slipping
performance in the face of intense pressure. All metal parts have been CNC
machined from original bar stock; aluminum parts are buffed, ultrasonically
cleaned, polished and gold-anodized; all screws are made from quality 315
stainless steel and can be easily loosened even after long-term exposure. This
two-speed reel offers a unique 2-button system which makes switching gears
incredibly fast and easy. Both styles include a padded nylon carry bag. Made in
Italy.
